From site visit to signed offer — before you leave the driveway
The electrician who hands over a clear, itemised, branded offer the same day wins the job. WireSketch turns the site visit itself into the offer: scan the rooms, place the installation on real walls, and send a priced PDF that looks like it came from your office — all from the iPhone or iPad already in your pocket.
The workflow
- Capture the property. Walk the home once with a LiDAR scan — every room becomes a measured project, chained into one floor plan. Or photograph a single wall and be planning in seconds.
- Plan the installation. Sockets, switches, lights, panel and cable runs on the customer's actual walls, with safety zones by country code (DIN 18015, IEC 60364, NEC).
- Price it automatically. The offer seeds itself from the plan: materials, per-wall cable runs, labour at your rate, per-room fixed costs. Adjust any line; your markup stays invisible to the customer.
- Send it on the spot. Fill the client from Contacts, attach the panel schedule, solar system and floor plan as priced sections, and share the PDF before the competition has driven home.
An offer document, not an app export
The PDF follows the DIN 5008 business-letter layout: your letterhead and logo, recipient block, offer number, subject line, a position table with optional manufacturer references, net → VAT → gross totals, signature block and legal footer. VAT is handled properly — standard rate, EU reverse charge, small-business exemption or export, each with the correct legal note printed automatically. Markup is folded into the displayed material prices, so every figure on the page adds up and your margin stays yours.
Know what's won, lost and going cold
The offers dashboard shows every offer by month with totals, filters by status, and your win rate at a glance. Mark offers sent, on hold, accepted or declined; expired offers are flagged before the customer goes quiet for good, and a sent offer with no reply can remind you to follow up. One accepted offer typically covers years of WireSketch Business.
What it costs
WireSketch Business is a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase, on top of WireSketch Pro (one-time) for unlimited planning — add the Solar Planner (one-time) if you quote PV. No per-offer fees, no cloud account, your data stays on your device.
FAQ
Can I put my own logo and letterhead on the offer PDF?
Yes — company logo, letterhead block, offer numbering, payment terms and legal footer, laid out to DIN 5008 so it reads like it came from your office, not from an app.
How is the offer priced?
Line items seed automatically from the plan: fixtures, cable runs measured per wall, labour at your hourly rate, per-room fixed costs like breakers and wet-room RCDs. You adjust any line before sending.
Which VAT treatments are supported?
Standard rate, EU reverse charge (Art. 196), small-business exemption and export — each prints the correct legal note automatically.
What do I need to buy?
WireSketch Pro for unlimited planning, the Solar Planner if you quote PV, and WireSketch Business for the offer generator and dashboard — monthly, yearly, or lifetime.
